However, with that said, the planets themselves aren't necessarily the point or the focus of Evochron Legacy. Well you certainly have valid points and as much as I love this game I'd agree that the emptiness of the planets is one of the weaker parts of the game. you know? In and out do your stuff, explore a bit for some zen time and then back to cleaning, mining, racing looting. If I was the developer I would have made the planets a LOT smaller. I cannot for the life of me imagine Kris-crossing every god forsaken procedural planet to find a life form, some ruin or whatever the game offers. Graphics are acceptable, ships are fine and the flight mechanics and fights are difficult but exciting.īut the planets. So I just said, "♥♥♥♥ it" and got away from there as fast as I could back to civilization. After floating over some mountains and oceans I started staring into the great abyss. I started paging one of my books on the shelf while I was descending. Is there a quicker way to get to a city or particular surface of a planet without twiddling your thumbs. Also, it's not like there's anything to explore or look at. So I just looked at the demo and realized that flying around planets are slow as hell.
